I’ve just had Steve Comley from Promis Carpentry sort out my kitchen cabinets, which were coming off the wall. He did an excellent job and was friendly and professional. And he did not cost the earth! I would definitely recommend him for any general building work or bespoke carpentry.

Had our conservatory roof insulated during a very cold period in December2022. The team turned up and done an excellent job. Now able to use the conservatory in the winter. We now await the hot summer to see if it’s cool enough to use

Steve and his team did a fantastic job fixing and installing our floor, I really couldn't be happy with the end results. I got a number of different quotes for the job and I found Steve very honest and trustworthy and I was so glad that I decided to go with Promis. They really went the extra mile and I feel truly comfortable that it was money well spent. I will certainly be using them again in the future and recommending them to friends.

Steve, Josh and Jack installed a new bannister for our stairs, made a bespoke loft hatch, hung doors and restored a battered old front door for us. They were very professional, friendly and went above and beyond. Great attention to detail in their work, working in a difficult wonky 1850 cottage. Couldn't recommend more highly and we will definitely use them again.

We had new skirting boards and up lighting channels installed, plus routing behind a cupboard. Steve was very responsive, giving us a quote on the same day I called. He and the team are very friendly. We worked through all the details of the work plus a realistic estimate. The work was scheduled a week later and Steve kept to his word. Josh did the carpentry and completed the work with excellent quality and efficiency. He tidied up after the job. I am very happy with the work and would recommend Promis for their professionalism, quality and reliability.

Steve and his team have done various jobs for me over the past three years and I have always found him fair, reliable and dependable. He just finished a car port and fitted two exterior doors for me and it all looks superb.
Steve and his team did an amazing job making a bespoke handmade bed for my daughter over my stair bulkhead. Highly recommend him. Lovely guy and very reasonably priced.

The most amazing builder I have ever met! Mum found him online. He came when he said he would. Done what he said and MORE. Really reasonably priced. Job was PERFECT.
